PROGRAMM
In creation - almost there!
Leave a Trace
Was heisst hier Wissen?
Was und wer schafft Wissen?
Was bewegt uns gemeinsam?

The Grand Water Reservoire in Prenzlauerberg is one of Berlin's most exciting spaces with unique acoustics and an echo of up to 18 seconds. In HUMAN NATURE . r e s o n a n c e the historic industrial monument in the heart of Prenzlauerberg is activated like an immense, labyrinthine instrument. And becomes a meeting place, incubator and common ground for neighbourhoods and current issues.
PROGRAMME
In creation - almost there! Details will be continuously updated _ The launch of the detailed programme is 30.Sept. !
Performances
from 19.30h
In HUMAN NATURE . r e s o n a n z, the artists compose directly with the space, its enormous echo and the unique architecture. With silence, sound, movement and light installations, impressive pieces are created ad hoc. In their compositions, the artists play with the theme of humanity and nature in real time. In interaction with the location, they create resonance spaces that the audience can experience as an immersion in a sensual and often unexpected world of perceptions, sensations and impressions, emotions, images and questions. With Dustin Zorn, Manuela Kloibmüller, Kristín Guttenberg, a lecture performance by Christopher Dell and further guests.
Live Labs for participation
from 16 - 18h
Before or after the performances, you can participate directly in exciting sessions and audience formats organised by The Moving Academy Berlin. The Silent Walks, Moving Dialogues and Public Quests offer creative and playful, yet in-depth exchange formats for artists and audiences. They refine and deepen the perception and experience of the performances or stimulate reflection on questions relating to the topic of water and space phenomena - with impulses from the latest research findings from deep-sea research and climate impact research, sociology and urban development. Depending on the format, spontaneous dialogues or short moderated exchange rounds are created, which can inspire further discussion ...
Leave a Trace
The audience of the performances and the participants in the live labs are invited to leave ‘traces’. On boards and cards and in the form of videos, audios and other digital formats, they are welcome to provide impulses: for the next artistic compositions in the Reservoire and for field research on the subject of science communication, knowledge transfer and participation.
What does it mean - knowledge?
What and who creates knowledge? And what kind of knowledge? How is knowledge communicated? We are interested: What kind of sensations, associations, reflections and questions will arise in the water reservoir, in the performance? What role does sensory experience or the environment play in the creation of knowledge? What significance does the individual experience have, what significance does the community have? What moves us together?
You can find out more about the programme and the latest news about the event here .
Bring warm clothing - the water reservoir cannot be heated.
and a torch, as some of the lighting is deliberately low (a mobile phone torch will suffice).
